Announcement
Current lead time is 2 weeks for Made-To-Order items.
This is a new shop taking baby steps. Read more below to see what this is all about...
.
With conscious consumption of materials as the compass for exploring creative ways of utilizing what already exists, Worthy Rubble features an evolving collection of made-to-order garments, re-worked apparel, and botanical vessels all made from reimagined materials.
.
A respect for the natural world along with a patience for repair and reinterpretation are at the heart of this venture.
.
All one-of-a-kind products are slowly handcrafted from salvaged glass, single-use plastics, textile dead stock, reimagined remnants, and discarded clothing. Intentionally in contrast with throw-away culture and the destructive practices of fast-fashion & mass production, I strive to create heirloom quality treasures from existing materials constructed with a durability that can be passed on for generations to come.
.
CIRCULARITY:: If you wear some holes into your garment or bump a crack into your glass piece - don't let that be the end! I would love the opportunity to mend/repair this for you. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me & we can work it out!!
.

5 out of 5 starsAmazing! This is my new favorite shirt. The personal touches throughout the whole process made this feel like such a special exchange. The shirt is beautifully made, interesting, and super flattering, but honestly the experience of purchasing from this seller made me love the shirt that much more. So happy about it all.

5 out of 5 starsThese napkins turned out better than I could have imagined, and are sooo soft. Best of all, they were created using the fabric scraps from a purple linen dress that Janelle resized for me. I continue to be impressed by Janelle’s resourcefulness and ninja sewing abilities 🥷. I gave some napkins to my little nieces, but their parents love them just as much. Thank you from the whole family 💜.

5 out of 5 starsFor this custom project, Janelle skillfully resized a linen wrap dress. Janelle outlined in detail various options for the reworking and illustrated each one so I could easily choose what I liked best. There was consistent communication about timeline, what could be realistically done to the garment, updates during each stage of the process, and how to care for the finished dress. Bottom line: If you’re dreaming of a custom garment or sewing project, look no further! Janelle is the real deal, and I couldn’t be happier with my custom pieces from WorthyRubble 🧵🪡

5 out of 5 starsThis blouse is incredible! There is so much intention and care in the way it is sewn and the materials chosen. It is now one of my favorite pieces to wear. The seller is very sweet as well and sent me a kind personal message. The packaging details were sweet and charming too, would give 6 stars if I could, thank you!
